Read this excerpt from White Fang by Jack London.

There was no fight left in Lip-lip, and he ran away shamelessly, his victim hot on his heels and worrying him all the way back to his own tepee.

Based on information in this passage, it is reasonable to predict that

White Fang will soon be attacked by Lip-lip.
Lip-lip will stay away from White Fang.
White Fang and Lip-lip will become allies.
Lip-lip will never come out of the tepee.

Lip-Lip will stay away from White Fang. The passage does show clearly that Lip-Lip is wary of the person hot on his heels, but does not specify why they are being chased or that they have any intention of becoming friends. Lip-Lip never coming out of the tepee is also not believable.
