The answer is y^8. Since the bases are the same (y), all you have to do is add the exponents together. And the answer would be y^8

Answer:

y^(5)* y^(3)=y^8

Explanation:

exponent property :

\left( a\right)^(n) * \left( a\right)^(m) =\left( a\right)^(n+m)

………………………………………

\Longrightarrow y^(5)* y^(3)=y^(5+3)=y^8
