Do you remember your salutations ? By now you should know a few different
ways to say hello and goodbye and how to introduce yourself in French.
Practice your "Greetings” vocabulary by meeting and introducing yourself in
French to a native French speaker. Be sure you complete this activity under the
supervision of an adult.
Ideas
1. Find a French speaking neighbor or member of your community
2 Go to a French restaurant if possible and introduce yourself to the waiter in
French
3. Go to a French bakery if possible and introduce yourself to the owner or baker
or cashier in French
4. Introduce yourself to a French speaking classmate
*Report to your teacherWho did you talk to? What did you say? What did the
person respond?
