∠A and \angle B∠B are complementary angles. If m\angle A=(2x+30)^{\circ}∠A=(2x+30)

and m\angle B=(6x-12)^{\circ}∠B=(6x−12)

, then find the measure of \angle A∠A..

Answer:

∠A = 48

Explanation:

∠A + ∠B = 90 ( Complementary angles)

2x + 30 + 6x - 12 = 90

Combine like terms

2x + 6x +30 - 12 = 90

8x + 18 = 90 {subtract 18 form both sides}

8x = 90 - 18

8x = 72 {Divide both sides by 8}

8x/8 = 72/8

x = 9

∠A = 2x + 30

= 2*9 + 30

= 18 + 30

∠A = 48
