Water has a much higher specific heat than most other covalent compounds. What do you predict might happen it water had a low specific heat instead?

If water had a "low specific heat" instead.

* Most organisms living in the water would not survive

* The water would become hotter during summer due to having a low specific heat, Thus life would change drastically.
