Answer:

2(b+1+b)= 18

Explanation:

Perimeter of a rectangle= 2(l+b)

18 feet= 2(l+b)

length: l, breadth: b

Because the length of the sandbox is 1 foot longer, it will be:

b+1 = l

Substitute l with b+1

2(b+1+b)= 18
