Answer and Explanation:

The prologue of "Brother in land" has as main objective to situate the reader about the story, where it takes place and what happens in it, besides showing the importance of reading that book and all the thoughts that the work wishes to address.

It is not possible to see spoilers in the prologue, which would spoil the reading experience, but it is possible to realize that the book will bring a reflection on the violence of wars and all the destruction, dread, show and hopelessness that it causes. We can also see that history shows that no one is free from the evils of war, not even children who are severely affected.

In short, the prologue shows that the book will bring a reflective story, often sorry and difficult, but very important for the formation of thought and awareness.
