Answer:

Beowulf speaks, asking Hrothgar to take care of the Geats and return his property to Hygelac if he, Beowulf, should be killed. He also bequeaths his own sword to Unferth, What two items does Beowulf bring back up to the surface? the hilt of the giant sword and Grendel's head, Unfortunately, Beowulf can't manage to kill the dragon alone, and it is the young warrior Wiglaf who comes to his aid and helps him kill the dragon. Wiglaf does this out of a sense of deep duty and allegiance to his leader, He soon becomes king and rules valiantly for many years, until a dragon threatens his great city. He kills the beast but is fatally wounded in the process. His death is a testament to his hubris because he chose to fight the dragon alone to attain glory rather than enlist the help of others.
