Answer:

6x-11y-z

Explanation:

*note* Just like in the alphabet, the order of your answer will go x, y, then z.

1. The only numbers with x as a variable is 2x and +4x. You see that 4x has a plus sign in front so you should add 2x and 4x together which equals 6x.

2. The only numbers with y as a variable is -5y and -6y. The way you would write this is -5y (+) -6y. The plus sign doesn't affect the equation at all, so the answer would be -11y.

3. The only numbers with z as a variable is -2z and +(1)z (the 1 is basically invisible lol). You want to add -2z and z, which equals -(1)z, which is -z.

Answer

6x−11y−z

Step-by-step explanation:2x−5y−2z+4x−6y+z

=2x+−5y+−2z+4x+−6y+z

Combine Like Terms:

=2x+−5y+−2z+4x+−6y+z

=(2x+4x)+(−5y+−6y)+(−2z+z)

=6x+−11y+−z
