I would choose a tropical environment like the jungle. This provides contestants with many ways to collect food and water but it still won’t be easy. It will also be an unfamiliar environment which will provide some entertainment value. There are dangerous animals in these regions but for the most part they keep to themselves. The conditions are also kinda miserable with the bugs and heavy rainfall (hard to make fire and constantly wet) but they aren’t necessarily dangerous. This is also a common location type for these kinds of shows as seen in naked and afraid and survivor presumably for these same reasons.
