I NEED HELP

Alonzo works as a car detailer. He charges $155 per car. He is planning to move out of his parent’s house and rent hit apartment. He will need to pay $125 for application fees, $890 for security deposit, and first and last months’ rent at $1,100 per month. He has $1,763 in savings. How many cars must he detail to have enough money to rent the apartment?

Answer: 10

Explanation:

Given that:

Amount charged per car detailed = $155

Amount required to rent apartment :

Application fees = $125

Securiry deposit = $890

first and last month rent = 2 × $1100 = $2,200

Total amount required to rent apartment :

$(125 + 890 + 2200) = $3,215

Amount in saving = $1,763

Additional amount needed :

$3215 - $1763 = $1452

Number of cars needed to detail in other to have enough to rent apartment :

Additional amoint required / amount charged per car detailed

$1452 / $155

= 9.36

Hence, he must detail 10 cars in other to have enough money
