Social Media has proven to add mental health struggles in Teenagers. Whether it's not getting enough likes on a post or getting a hurtful comment, teenager's social media accounts are ending up becoming a huge problem! Many teens find themselves comparing their bodies to the staged and often times photo-shopped images of others. Social media has allowed teens to tease and bully others without consequences.

Suicid.e rates in teens aged 15 to 19 have risen to an extreme. In girls, the rate has risen about 68%, while the rate for boys is lower, it's a huge problem.

Not to mention, teenagers have admitted increased anxiety and depression since they started using Social media.

One of my friends was admitted to the hospital after starving herself and attempting to end her life. She claims that social media "definitely impacted her[my] choices".

Social media is a major problem for teenagers. Mental Health is more important than likes. Next time you are about to comment on a post, think about how it will affect the readers.
