Area of square is given by ,
A=x^2.

Perimeter of square is , P = 4x .

We need to find value of x when area and perimeter are equal :

So ,

x^2=4x\\\\x(x-4)=0\\\\x=4

For x = 4 units area is equal to the perimeter of square.

Hence, this is the required solution.
