Answer:

Five things that change quickly and are observable are as following:

  • Weather: It is a non-living thing. Change in weather can be easily observed when it suddenly rains after a sunny day.
  • Melting of ice: it is a non-living thing and can be seen when ice is kept in warm temperature, it changes from solid to liquid form.
  • Crackers burst: It is a non-living thing. The bursting of crackers is a quick physical change that can be easily noticed after burning the cracker and it burst in pieces.
  • Burning of a candle: It is also a non-living thing. A candle undergoes physical and chemical change where it converts from solid to liquid due to heat.
  • Basil seeds in water: It is also a non-living thing. Basil seeds get swelled when kept in water due to the process of osmosis.

Five things that change so slowly they are almost unnoticeable:

  • Weathering of rocks: It is a non-living thing. Weathering is defined as the process in which rocks and minerals on Earth's surface break down.
  • Second hand in the clock: It is a non-living thing. The movement of the second hand is almost unnoticeable.
  • Depletion of oxygen in the atmosphere: It is a non-living thing. Depletion of oxygen due to pollution is an almost unnoticeable
  • Mutation in some new virus: It is a living thing (mutation occurs in a living body). When a new virus is found and it mutates itself slowly that scientists and doctors did not notice the change in the virus.
  • Pollution caused by plastic: It is a non-living thing. Plastic is one of the major sources of plastic but the pollution by plastic is unnoticeable unless or until the situation got worst.
