1) 6/12+3/7

2) Find common denominator= 12x7=84

3) Multiply one fractions denominator with other fractions numerator:

6/12+3/7 —> 6x7= 42 and 12x3 = 36

4) 42/84+36/84= 78/84

5) 78/84 can then be simplified to 13/14
