Answer: —1/6

Step-by-step explanation: By using BIDMAS we solve the bracket first t we get 12/36 then we simpli it to 1/3

then we solve -1/2 + 1/3 by taking 6 as common denominator we get -3/6 + 2/6 then we add them but cause of the subtraction sign we subtract it and we get -1/6

Answer:

-(1)/(6)

Explanation:

-(1)/(2) +((3)/(4)* (4)/(9) )\\\\\mathrm{Remove\:parentheses}:\quad \left(a\right)=a\\=-(1)/(2)+(3)/(4)* (4)/(9)\\\\(3)/(4)* (4)/(9)=(1)/(3)\\\\(3)/(4)* (4)/(9)=(1)/(3)\\\\\mathrm{Least\:Common\:Multiplier\:of\:}2,\:3:\quad 6\\\\\mathrm{Adjust\:Fractions\:based\:on\:the\:LCM}\\\\(1)/(2)=(1* \:3)/(2* \:3)=(3)/(6)\\\\(1)/(3)=(1* \:2)/(3* \:2)=(2)/(6)\\\\=-(3)/(6)+(2)/(6)\\

=-(3)/(6)+(2)/(6)\\\\=(-3+2)/(6)\\\\=(-1)/(6)\\\\=-(1)/(6)
