Given:-

  • Initial velocity,u = 23 m/s

  • Acceleration,a = 1.8 m/s²

  • Time taken,t = 6.8 s

To be calculated:-

Calculate the final velocity,v .

Solution:-

As we know that,

Acceleration = v - u / t

⇒ 1.8 = v - 23 / 6.8

⇒ 1.8 × 6.8 = v - 23

⇒ 12.24 = v - 23

⇒ v = 12.24 + 23

⇒ v = 35.24 m/s

Thus,the final velocity of a car is 32.24 meters per seconds.
