Our equation can be set up like this: 0 > (5-x)(-3)(-1) Where x is our unknown

Since we know that multiplying two negative numbers gets a positive number. We know that our (5-x) has to be negative, so our answer will end up as a negative, therefore makes the total value less than 0.
