The formula is therefore:

ρ = m/V

Just as speed is distance covered per a given period of time;

We have a mass and we have a volume, all we need to do is plug into the formula:

ρ = 5.788/(4.22)

ρ = 1.37156398104 → 1.37 (rounded to 3 significant figures)

Finding the units is easy, the mass is in g and the volume is in ml and the mass is divided by volume so the units are: g/ml
