Step-by-step explanation:
The original point asked in the problem says (5, -2). When a number is positive, you do not have to annunciate that it is; in this problem you’d just say the number 5. This being said you can eliminate point A and point C. When listing a number on a coordinate plane you say it as it is. In this case, you would say “five, negative two” rewritten as (5,-2). This would eliminate point B because it is out of order and would bring you into a totally different quadrant. Point D is the only left answer making it correct. Hope this helps !!
