Let's apply rule of 3:

cups oz

2 ------- 48

5 ------- X

2 · X = 48 · 5

2X = 48 · 5

X = (48 · 5)/2

48 is the volume of soda, so just multiply that volume by 2/5 to get the new amount of soda...

5cups / 2cups
