The Ratio of boys to girls at Verrado Middle School is 4 to 5. If there are 300 boys at VMS, how many more girls are

there than boys?

So, 4x = 300 (Given)

x = 300/4 = 75

Thus number of girls:- 5x = 5×75= 375 girls

now you take the 375 girls minus the 300 boys.

375-300 = 75 Girls more
