How do you divide decimals.

First we move the divisor (if its a decimal) to the right until there is no more dot. If your dividend is also a decimal you also need to move it to the right how many spaces you moved the divisor's.

Example:

923.56 ÷ 4.5

This means that we move the dot between 4 and 5 once. We do the same to 923.56.

This means our division problem will be

9235.6 ÷ 45.

Now just do the problem normally as you should.
