3^2 = 3 × 3 = 3 + 3 + 3 = 9

5^2 = 5 × 5 = 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 = 25

7^2 = 7 × 7 = 7 + 7 + 7 + 7 + 7 + 7 + 7 = 49

If a number has that little 2 above it, just multiply that number by itself.
