The area is the measurement of the space occupied by any two-dimensional geometric shapes. The surface area is the sum of areas of all the faces of the three-dimensional figure. Plane 2D figures represent the area.

Surface area is the sum of the areas of all faces (or surfaces) on a 3D shape. A cuboid has 6 rectangular faces. To find the surface area of a cuboid, add the areas of all 6 faces. We can also label the length (l), width (w), and height (h) of the prism and use the formula, SA=2lw+2lh+2hw, to find the surface area.

HOW or explations =

In geometry, the area can be defined as the space occupied by a flat shape or the surface of an object. The area of a figure is the number of unit squares that cover the surface of a closed figure. Area is measured in square units such as square centimteres, square feet, square inches, etc.

sorry for last 2 lines it wasent realeted to your question but this might help u in the future plleaase rate me and like
