Answer:

(f+g)(2) = 1

Explanation:

Given :

f(x) = x − 3

g(x) = x² − x

Note : (f+g)(x) = f(x) + g(x)

then

(f+g)(2) = f(2) + g(2)

= (2 - 3) + (2² - 2)

= -1 + 2

= 1

another method:

(f+g)(x) = f(x) + g(x) = x − 3 + x² − x = x² - 3

then

(f+g)(2) = 2² - 3 = 4 - 3 = 1
