The width is 10 inches

Explanation:

Perimeter = 2(Length + Breadth)

Length(L) = 3B + 5

Perimeter = 70

70 = 2(3B + 5)

70 = 6B + 10

70 - 10 = 6B

60 = 6B

60/6 = B

B = 10 inches
