Just as you take classes online, tutors are also available online. Which do you feel would be of greatest benefit to the student, an online or in-person tutor? Why?

Answer:

I would personally say tutoring online would have the larger benefit. People often worry about not having time to meet up with a tutor but if you're able to meet with one anytime online, that could get rid of that worry of not having time to meet up with a tutor.

Online tutoring could also help with people being nervous, anxious, or stressed about meeting a tutor in person and I feel like online learning can help ease those problems.

Although, I feel like there can be upsides to in-person tutoring. Such as it is easier to understand certain topics in person like math easier and probably many more other examples I could bring up to support in-person tutoring.

Answer:

I think that both an online tutor and an in-person tutor have their benifits but one out-weighs the other. With an in-person tutor you can get one on one interaction with the tutor and get help directly. With an online tutor the student can be in their own comfortable place. Studies have shown that students did better when they were in-person though. Many people may not have good internet so communication maybe be difficult with online tutors.
