Given :

A rectangle that is 2 inches by 3 inches.

To Find :

If the rectangle is scaled by a factor 7 what are the side lengths of the scaled copy.

Solution :

It is given that the rectangle is scaled by 7.

So , new length and breadth are also multiplied by 7.

New sides are 2×7 = 14 and 3×7 = 21 .

Therefore, the side length after scaling is 14 inches and 21 inches.

Hence, this is the required solution.
