25x5-4x17+16=8-7
First multiply the numbers:
125-68x+16=1
Add
141-68x=1
Move the constant and change the sign
-68x=1-141
Calculate
X = 35/17 (or x = 2 1/17

(25x5= 125 - 4= 121 x 17 = 2,057 + 16 = 2,073 - 8 - 7 = 2,058
