Explanation:

The absolute value of a number is the positive of that number.

For example, number 22:

| n − 3 | = 5

n − 3 = -5 or n − 3 = 5

n = -2 or n = 8

For number 24, it's impossible for an absolute value to be negative, so there's no solution.
