Please help!!

why do you think academic stress may be the #1 cause of stress among adolescents? And what are your suggestions as to how adolescents can reduce academic stress?

Answer: I would say academic stress is the most common with adolescents because educarion is their main focus at the time. And the work load is very high and difficult. Along with adolescents future depending on how well they do with their academic success. A stress reducer for this problem may vary for different students. Wether that would be asking for help from a teacher, staying caught up with work, or taking some time for stress reducing activities.

Prolonged stress can cause high blood pressure, weaken the immune system and contribute to diseases such as obesity and heart disease. It can also lead to mental health problems such as anxiety and depression—disorders that are becoming more common in youth. Transitions, Social Pressure, Organization, Class Participation, Supplies, Change in Routine, or Homework. Exercise and eat regularly. Get enough sleep and have a good sleep routine. Avoid excess caffeine which can increase feelings of anxiety and agitation. Avoid illegal drugs, alcohol, and tobacco.
