Steps: collect like terms & subtract the #’s
6x^2 +4x+3-7x-2 → 6x^2 -3x+3-2 → 6x^2-3x+1

#2 Answer: -2x^2-15x+6
Steps: Remove unnecessary parentheses. & when there’s a negative in front of an expression in parentheses, change the sign of each term in the expression.
3x^2 -5x+10-5x^2 -10x-4
Collect like terms & subtract the #’s
-2x^2 -15x+10-4 → -2x^2 -15x+6

#3 Answer: 8x^2 +12x
Steps: Multiply each term in the parentheses by 2x.
2x•4x+2x•6
Calculate the product.
8x^2 +2x•6 → 8x^2 +12x

#4 Answer: 6x^2 -10x-24
Steps: Multiply the parentheses
3x•2x-3x•6+4•2x-4•6
