WHO CONTROLS THE TERRITORY OF THE 13 BRITISH COLONIES- I suppose its the British empire. The 13 colonies were in fact in America but they weren’t controlled by Spain. The colonies were usually controlled by the home country, thus it being the British empire.
WHY WAS ACCESS TO WATERWAYS AN IMPORTANT FACTOR IN THE SETTLEMENT OF COLONIAL CITIES AND TOWNS- they were important because they provided fertile land to grow crops and the water was some what clean so civilians can drink from it. They were also used for transportation, to get from place to place.
