Answer: the slope is 2/3.

Step-by-step explanation: The expression for finding slope when given 2 coordinates of the line is (y2 - y1) ÷ (x2 - x1) which just means that you take the y output of the second coordinate given to you and subtract the y output of the first coordinate given from that and the same for the x inputs. So when you plug in the numbers into that expression, you get (0- (-4)) ÷ (9 - 3). When you subract something from a negative number, its the same as adding. So it could also be written as (0 + 4) ÷ (9 - 3). When you subtract and add the numbers in both parentheses you end up with the fraction 4/6, but now you need to simplify that fraction which leaves you with the final answer of the fraction 2/3!
