Explanation:

I am not 100% sure if this correct as I am an 8th grader, but for a you know that the right angle close to a and 62, they are complementary so a= 90-62. For b, you know triangles always equal 180 degrees, so you add 62+52, then you subtract from 180, then subtract your number after you subtract 180 to 180 again and you should get b, because b is supplementary to the missing angle in the triangle.
