Julia is 13 years old. She is 5 feet 2 inches and weighs 113 pounds. All of her friends aren't eating breakfast or lunch to lose weight. Julia feels she needs to lose weight too. Should Julia lose weight or is she at a healthy weight? Are her friends being healthy?

PLEASE HELP!! I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO WRITE!!!

Answer:

Julia is a healthy weight, her freinds aren't being healthy.

Step-by-step explanation:

  1. Skipping lunch and breakfast is bad for you because it causes your body to lower the metabolism (energy)causing it to burn energy and can make you GAIN weight.

NO! Julia's friends are not being healthy. Skipping meals to lose weight is not good for your body. It can cause eating disorders like anorexia which is very serious and many people have died from. Julia should practice positive self image and not give in to peer pressure to lose weight. It is important to practice a healthy, balanced lifestyle by both exercising regularly and eating well. Julia is at a healthy weight and should continue being healthy. She should also try to encourage her friends to make healthy choices with her.
