Mason has 1,015 pounds of apples. He sells 9 bushels, 25 boxes, and 40 bags. How many pounds of apples does Mason have left? Enter your answer in the box.

Total mass , M = 1015 pounds .

Also ,

Bushel = 25 lbs

box = 10 lbs

bag = 5 lbs

To Find :

How many pounds of apples does Mason have left .

Solution :

Total pounds he sells :


S=(9* 25)+(25* 10)+(40* 5 )\\ \\S=675\ lb

So , pounds of apples left .


Money\ left =M-S\\\\=1015-675 \\\\=340\ lb

Therefore , pounds of apples left 340 lb .

Hence , this is the required solution .
