In each sack, there are 10 bags. In each bag, there are 5 pouches. Which number completes the equation that relates p, the number of pouches, and s, the number of sacks?

Answer: p = 50 s

Explanation:

Given: In each sack, there are 10 bags. In each bag, there are 5 pouches.

i.e. Total pouches in each sack = (Number of bags in each sack) x (Number of pouches in each each bag)

= 10 x 10 =50

Let p = number of pouches, and s= the number of sacks

Then, Number of p pouches in s sacks will be given by-

p = 50 s , which is the required equation.
