Answer:

The preamble is important because it lays out the basic duties of our governing body such as to provide protection to its citizens from any threat or intrusion foreign or domestic And just simply all around care for its citizens on every level.

Took splain it to someone who's not from here, they just seem to understand that our government is citizen based ultimately everything this to be done is "supposed to be for its people" even though it may not always seem like that.
