-5 (x - 3)= 30 ....x=3 is not a solution
-5(x - 3)= 30 -5x +15
(Two minus’ would cancel each other out)
If x =3 then the equation would be -15 +15 which equals 0 x would have to be -3 for the equation to be true

I don’t understand this can someone help me please
