People do ceromonies and traditions every (for example) year. The thing that the ceromony/tradition is about is important to them, otherwise, they wouldn't do it yearly (or whenever they do it) and go to all the trouble setting things up...etc. People won't work for things they don't hold important (if that makes sense)
