Mallory ordered a pizza with a 17-inch diameter. ricky ordered a pizza with a 20-inch diameter. what is the approximate difference in the area of the two pizzas?

Answer:

Ok so, pizza one is 17 inches in diameter, which in order to find area of a circle/circumferences, you first need to divide by 2, in this case 17/2=8.5, then square it, 8.5*8.5=72.25, then multiply by PI (3.14 in this case.) 72.25*3.14=226.865 which can round up to 227. Or 226.9
