1. What two documents will you use to support your response? ___Document E_________ and ___Document F_________
Response: Trade affected spread of religion quickly during the Middle ages since there were so many people travelling word got around quickly. Many people used trade routes during the Middle Ages and on these journeys using the trade routes the people most likely discussed their beliefs. As seen in Document E: Major Trade Routes of Afroeurasia c.1300 CE, Map there were many popular trade routes that went all over and hit many different places. Also seen in document ‘E’ is the fact that the Major Trade Routes almost all lead to every corner of the map.
In The History of Japan, Louis G. Perez, explains how many people used the trade routes to trade goods, weapons, food, and other types of valubables. Some places depended on the trade routes to get their supplies that they needed. This caused frequent trade routes being used which causes the word of other religions to spread throughout the different places. Often people would discuss their religion and beliefs with the other traders and this caused diversity and new knowledge of other religions.
2.What two documents will you use to support your response? ____Document B________ and _document D ___________
Response: The art that was made during the Middle Ages reflects on the events and ideas of the Middle Ages because the art depicts what was going on during the time. In the Magna Carta, it explains the Magna Carta charter and the history behind it. The Magna Carta was a result of the King (at the time) abusing his power against nobles, and King John of England made the charter in order to protect their rights and in support of the nobles. Document D: Kokin Wakashū Anthology, shows a japanese poem which shows how they are getting more smart and seem to be becoming a better and bigger society. Most of the other art from the Middle Ages also had religious ties or had a clear hierachy showing low and high classes.
3. What two documents will you use to support your response? __Document A__________ and _Document F___________
Response: “The Dark Ages” would be appropriate term to describe the Middle Ages. During the middle ages nothing much was really happening and the time would be considered “Dark” because of the lack of growth and advancement during that time period. In The History of Japan, Louis G. Perez it explains some things that were traded during the Middle Ages and the items on there aren’t all to great and didn't really make anyone advance. In Document A: Dictionary Entry for “The Dark Ages”, it also explains how the we don’t really know much about that time considering the amount of evidence and information is really small.
Goodluckk!!! :))
