A department store buys 200 shirts at a cost of ​$1,400 and sells them at a selling price of ​$10 each. Find the percent markup.

Well first you would have to find the price of each shirt which is 1400/200 meaning each shirt would be $7

At this point the cost of all of the shirts would be 2000 in total

For each shirt they are earning a $3 profit so for each shirt there is a 42.85714 or you could simplify it to 43 or 42.9
