Answer:

L= 0.6km b= 0.3km

Explanation:

L = length b= breadth

L= 2 * b = 2b

he jogged around 3 times to cover 5.4 km

So, jogging around once would be (5.4/3) = 1.8 km which is the perimeter

perimeter of a rectangle is 2(L + b)

since the length is twice the breath, substitute 2b for L in the formula

perimeter = 2(2b + b) = 2(3b) = 6b

perimeter = 6b

1.8 = 6b

divide both sides by 6

b = 0.3km

since L = 2b, them L = 2 * 0.3 = 0.6km.
