\large\huge\green{\sf{Answer:-}}

-2x-10y=-2_____(i)

-4y=x_______(ii)

applying substitution method:-

equation (i):-

➡-2x-10y=-2

➡-2(-4y)-10y = -2

  • ( given from equation (ii) (-4y=x))

➡8y-10y= -2

➡-2y = -2

➡y = 1

now to find x put in equation ii

➡-4y=x

➡-4(1)= x

➡x= -4
