A=2, you add 8a to both sides and subtract 8 and then divide by 4

Answer:

a=2

Explanation:

You can have "a" on both sides and still get an answer easily. You start off by adding 8a to the right. That makes 8+4a=16. You then subtract 8 from 16 and get 4a=8. Divide by 4 to get your answer. You get a=2
