can someone tell me if this is a good hook or just stupid "It is no secret that video games are transforming our lives, a study proves that video games are known to help kids with ADHD and dyslexia." I feel like ""It is no secret" is kinda dumb and i should leave it out. thoughtss?

I think this is a good "hook" or starter sentence. It draws attention to what you want to talk about. You can also consider starting with a question. This makes it seem like you are talking to the reader.

(Ex: Have video games effected your life?)

Don't use that sentence because it's not that good lol but that is what I mean.
