Briefly explain how to convert a fraction to its decimal
form.

Answer: So what my teacher always told me to do was act like a fraction was a tree. The tree always falls to the left which then outs the fraction as a division problem. You solve the division problem

Ok so for example, lets use
(1)/(2). Drawing it as a tree it then falls to the left. Therefore it becomes 1 รท 2. So 2 can not go into one therefore you need to put a decimal point at the top and add a zero behind the 1 under the bar. The 1 then becomes a 10, therefore 2 can go into 10 5 times. However the answer is not 5. You have to remember to bring the decimal point that you placed before the 5. In conclusion hte answer is .5 . This may be confusing because I am not able to include any photos but hopefully you'll get the point.
